Now, according to a new study, it is a good idea to exercise in the morning, before you’ve had your breakfast. During the study, two groups of men were followed for six weeks. One group of men exercised in the morning before they had breakfast and they lost a lot of weight. The other group of men exercised later in the day, and they gained weight. Remarkable!
One possible explanation is that when you’re exercising before you’ve had your breakfast, your body uses your fat stores as fuel for the workout. If you eat breakfast, your body uses your breakfast as fuel.
